Action Shero Aditi Mazumdar interned at Blank Noise in 2018 f as part of the I Never Ask For It mission and its campus programme, Campus Climate Internship. Aditi researched student protests on campus /Campus Uprisings in response to rape culture and patriarchy on campuses between 2008 -2018. This internship and research project was supported by Center for Internet and Society.
“For me, the core of this internship lies at an intricate balance between introspection and extrospection. I continued to learn more about myself while still confronting the realities of the outside.
One of the major takeaways as a researcher is the value that individuals and their experiences should not be treated as data.
The internship taught me that process is as important as results. It is the questions or enquiries each of us raised that directed each conversation rather than finding the right answer.
