"After witnessing the on-ground events of the Wrestlers' Protest at Jantar Mantar, and how the wrestlers have been treated there was a lot of anger in me, still is. But I don't want that anger to go in vain rather wanted it to become a transformative force. Thus, the urgency in me to register my solidarity in an means possible. Holding the banner was one way to do that. I just hope my bit and of the people of rest of the country reaches to the people in power and justice prevails." -

For me, the words mean honesty and rigour that is essential to feminist practice. While expression and speaking one's truth is celebrated quite a lot, we also need to emphasise on listening as feminist praxis.

I felt a bit awkward holding the banner in the beginning. But then, slowly, I was standing and holding the banner more firmly. The banner was holding me as much as I was holding it.
